Which brush cutter attachments should you use?
Line head, grass blade or mulching knife: the vegetation decides. For dense brambles, the useful secret is a proper mulching knife on a genuinely compatible machine.

Let the vegetation choose the tool.
An automatic head is ideal for grass and obstacles. A three-tooth blade handles tall grass, but dense brambles call for a proper mulching knife. Heavier line lasts longer only when the head and machine are designed for it.

The soil-working attachment is specialist gear.
Mine works the surface between plants. It needs a compatible drive and a clear area with no stones or bystanders. I would rather show my real tool than recommend a poorly reviewed universal attachment.

Before fitting any attachment
- Check thread, bore, rotation, power and maximum rpm in the machine manual.
- Fit the correct guard and use a harness. Stop the engine, remove the battery or disconnect the spark plug.
- Wear a helmet, glasses under the visor, hearing protection, gloves, long trousers and solid footwear. Keep people and animals away.
- Never fit unapproved chain, flail or wire-brush heads.
